9/11 Memorial

This is a memorial picture from the events of 9/11. Thousands of innocent civilians were killed that day because of the horrible terrorists. Families were lost, lives were sacrificed, people were traumatized, and Osama Bin Laden was celebrating back in his own country, saying that the twin towers' fall was a "blessing".

Those are the twin towers on each of the bird holder's thumbs, which are supposed to be America's hands (NOT HETALIA). The twin towers are actually rings that America is wearing and the ones on her other fingers are the White House (or now the Capital) and the Empire State Building. They're rings because it's supposed to symbolize that she "wears them with pride".

I had the bald eagle in tears because that very day was one of the most traumatic events to happen in US history. There were so many Heros that day, including the brave firefighters, the Priest who assisted them, and the passengers who fought the hijackers who were going to originally crash into the Capital. There were also so many victims that day as well.

However, from this event, Americans became closer with one another and we didn't fall apart like Osama wanted us to. As a united country, we stayed together as one and that's why I'm proud to be an American citizen!
